Hi Everyone,
rn
Yesterday was a busy day for me. I was on a freecycle quest. I put an address into my navigator, and away I went to get some things. I was on the way to see my daughters’. I took one daughter to lunch, and visited with her. Then I went to see another daughter who lived near her, and we had tea, and then I was headed home, which is an hour and a half away from where I was. My oldest daughter is half way between home, and my other two daughters. I went to her house, and all was dark, so I went home. When I got home no one was here for awhile so I was looking through all the freecycle things that I had gotten earlier in the day. I got a few things that I can give to my daughter in Virginia, which are a really nice bagel toaster, four slicer, and a nice Black and Decker can opener, and 8 Country Crock cups! I think these cups are going to be my new favorite cups to have my coffee and tea in.

Anyway my husband came home last night from visiting his father, and he said he had talked to my oldest daughter last night before she went to a chanber of commerce meeting. Before she went to the Chamber of commerce meeting, she was just out of the shower and the phone rang, and it was a neighbor saying that two big vicious boxers were after her little Dashound Oscar. So she threw on a bathrobe, and slippers, and ran to the door, and the two dogs were right over Oscar, and Oscar was lying down and had messed himself he was so scared. She called Oscar in, and the dogs started to go after Franco, her Springer Spaniel. She called Franco in, and he immediately came in, which is unusual for him, because he usually doesn’t pay any attention to her when she calls, but he was really scared. Then the dogs turned on her, she was in the garage and they were headed toward her snarling, and she grabbed a bat. She hit on on the head, and it ran off with the other one following. She called the animal control, and said they have had complaints about these dogs before, and this is never going to happen again.

I told my husband animals usually protect their owners, but this time she saved their lives. She probably surprised herself, as she is afraid of taking mice out of a mouse trap, has a phobia of bugs, and spiders, etc. I guess you get brave when there is danger around.

This morning I slept in, but made oatmeal, ate a banana, had my coffee in those large Country Crocks. I am so pleased with them. I talked to my daughters, and I am behind on my exercise schedule, but will do it, and I am going to catch up with all of my wonderful buddies.

All of you have a great day, and take care of yourselves.
