It is cold, and rainy out today.  I keep a little umbrella in the car in case I get caught somewhere, and it starts to rain.

I got an hour in on the exercise bike this morning.  I was going to do some running around, but I don’t really like driving around in the rain.  I made a quick trip to the store to get some puppy food, and some raisin bread for me.  I have been watching my calories, although I haven’t been logging them.

Yesterday I wore a really nice outfit to get my picture taken with my new grandson.  I really was pleased with myself, when I could just slip into a smaller size without much thought.  The baby is filling out, and in my unbiased grandmotherly opinion, is beautiful.  lol

Today it was cold, and I put my medium jacket on, and it fits perfectly.   Milestones like a sizes changing sure is motivating.  Today my lunch had a lot of  calories, but I have them worked in with the calories for the day.

Most of my day revolves around my new puppy, who thinks she is the center of the universe.  She is getting housebroke for the most part, but she requires a lot of vigilance.  Right now she is a lot of work, but hopefully all the work I am doing with her will make her a good dog to be around, not only for me, but for others.  I have been taking her with me to visit with everyone so she will be socialized.  So far so good.

Exercise Log

Hi Everyone,

Today I was looking for a long coat so I could go outside really quick in the morning with the puppy.  Right now I have to completely get dressed to take her out in the back yard.  I tried on the bigger sizes, and they swam on me.  A woman gave me a size 12 petite to try on, and it fit!  I got brave, and got a jacket also, and it is a medium. 

My daughter had a baby boy on October 4th, and I am a very happy grandmother.  Babies are all so perfect!  I am happy to say that because I have taken care of myself with exercise and diet, that I am feeling so much better, and will be able to continue to help my family when they need me. 

This summer seemed to fly by; I can hardly believe that it is fall.  I will be helping my daughter with her baby, and I won’t be riding my exercise bike, but I will be taking walks with the puppy. 

Chickee, my pup, is three fourths chihuahua, and one fourth mutt.  She is a lot of company, and keeps me busy taking care of her.  She is pretty well housebroken now at 9 weeks, and she obeys the sit command.  I hope she stays trained when it gets colder.
